It's my theory white hats made him rich for his role
Build the theory, pepper it with facts, data, and make the case. Someone has to be able to figure this out!
I just know that he became the world's richest man almost overnight.
The sales of Teslas and his rocket business are not nearly enough to bring him that wealth so quickly.
So I essentially think he was created as a weapon for the white hats.
