Charging for a documentary you created isn't being a "paytriot". An examples of a "paytriot" is someone who just says what they say for money, or lies and grifts. For example, Greggggg Phillips constantly teased the election audit, then didn't release the results, then started a podcast.
Dinesh makes documentaries. He doesn't misrepresent that at all. He puts his movies in theaters, and for those who don't live near one of the theaters his movie is in, he offers an online option. That's not being a "paytriot."

Paytriot definition is broader than that when considering anon alt media and social media personalities.
The ride is getting so whacky now it can be hard to discern what to trust. Take everything in, and then trust no one. Trust the plan.
All that being said, Dinesh is certainly not the old board definition of paytriot. He is a self defined career documentarian. As you mentioned Phillips is a prime example. Beginners starter list to recognizing paytriots PSA from last year.
