It hit land as a cat 3. They live on the coast, this was probably right as the first high winds hit. Ya gotta be tuff to live on the gulf.

Well, if you live on the coast you get used to 20-30 mph winds on a regular basis. The first part of the storm isn’t too crazy. 😁
