If the Chinese do actually pull something. And the rumors about the sheer amount and variety of ordnance the Taiwanese have been stockpiling is true.

Miles of Dug in Bunkers, Fall back positions. Camouflaged Armor and Artillery Positions. Beaches can be mined in hours. Craploads of Conventional and Unconventional Anti-Ship and Anti-Air. Not to mention decades of planning for just such an eventuality.

It’ll be a bloodbath. Unless the Chinese pull wonder Weapons out of their ass.
