Pretty much every prominent person of the second half of the 1800s and the first half of the 1900s was a eugenicist.
Lindberg, Ford, George Bernard Shaw, Teddy Roosevelt, The Huxleys, Hitler, etc.. We still have a lot of them but they know now to keep their views quiet (folks like Gates).
I’m really not happy to see Robert Foster Kennedy and John P Kennedy Jr. on there, given RFK Jr’s position right now
Every man is his own, but there are also curses handed down from the fathers. At the same time, someone always has the chance to step up and make redemption.
I think that just like anything there is a Light and a Dark version.
A "Light" version of eugenics could be what we would call "epigenics" today. Meaning we feed you food and exercise designed to produce the best possible expressions of the genes you have. I think this is very consistent with RFK Jr's approach.
The "Dark" version would be more along the lines of Sanger, or Himmler's Lebensborn program. However, if the participants know what they're getting into, they are making an informed choice. The "know what they're getting into" part is often hard to secure.
Yep. There was even a semi-absurdist movie made about him. He was a very odd person. "Crazy", I would say.

It’s funny how many of these eugenicists keep getting involved in health and nutrition and economics.
You’d think that advocating eugenics would conflict with wanting to care for our health, but I guess not!
Edit: this is gonna get memed ASAP. Keynes, Gates, Kellogg, Sanger, who else?
