Flour converts to sugar in the body. So does starch.
Fiber cannot be digested by humans, so it is a toxin. In fact, the definition of "fiber" is "that part of the plant which cannot be digested." A small amount might be digested by some of the bacteria in the colon, but that is long after the damage to the intestinal tract has already been done. Cows and gorillas have bacteria in their stomach and early parts of their digestive tracts, so the bacteria there can digest fiber/cellulose (bacteria are the only things on planet Earth that can digest fiber/cellulose).
The vitamins listed in cereal are not natural vitamins we get from food. They are man-made chemicals that have a "molecular structure simliar to ..." [Vitamin A, etc.]. The lobbyists for the food companies have bribed the politicians and bureaucrats so as to allow the laws and regulations to state that the manufactureres can call it "Vitamin A" or whatever, even though it is not. These are made from vegetable seed oils, not actual vitamins.
