if you can't have sugar, or just want to avoid it, erithrytol is a great alternative.
Important note though: Sometimes your body must acclimate to it and some people's bodies don't like it at all. Because it is not readily digestible, and a small amount of it "ferments", it can give gas and bloating.
I don't experience this issue, but I also tend to prefer sweetener mixes that use a combination of erythritol and monk fruit.

actually erithrytol is pretty decent, health-wise. makes sense for them to throw it under the bus... we are not allowed to have healthy stuff
