As an atheist, I don’t believe in the supernatural.
I recently ran across a video with someone explaining how witchcraft works. It was Andrew Bustamante to the best of my recollection as I can’t find the video. He put into much better words what I had already been thinking.
Witchcraft is a confidence scheme where the “witch” convinces a requestor that they have special powers while concealing the nefarious activities necessary to fulfill the requestor’s desire.
Pay me some money and I will cast a spell to end the life of another. I’ll have my hit man that you don’t know about kill that person. Get it?
If the witches can’t harm Trump then it means that Trump is being protected.
being an atheist makes you wrong, so...
Well, the word supernatural implies that it works count it's there, but it's not natural: it's not bound by God's laws. Back in 2013 when I was in the Peruvian jungle pursuing where I did 14 ceremonies and four weeks, then in the next three years I also did nine more ceremonies in the USA and Canada, I routinely encountered beings that live in those dimensions. We could have conversations that were as real as this conversation is. And they told me some pretty wise things tell me things that I have remembered all my life.
Can you share the wisdom please? 🙏 I'm interested in spiritual growth and Egyptian occultism. Thank you in advance! 🫶😘🐇👍
I started having experiences - not as intense, but definitely I was connected to some beings like this - when I was doing intense meditation.
I was pretty scared as I was not sure if they were benign or not and I stopped meditation completely.
Did you have a feeling if these beings were benign or not? Did you have a way to determine if they were benign or malign?
If these people who practice witchcraft are frauds, then why would they say that its not working? Wouldn't they pretend it worked and whenever something bad happens next, just claim the credit.
However, just want to add. As a former atheist from birth who turned agnostic in my 20s when I realised I cannot prove scientifically that God does not exist, and who found Jesus after going down the Q rabbit holes, here is my sincere suggestion. This is what I did over my lifetime purely as part of pursuit of knowledge, and I think its something every atheist should do.
Pick the most basic essence of at least 3 religions and read them with the intent of understanding what the message is. Make sure you include Christianity, and the best writing for the essence of Christianity is what someone suggestion to me - Gospel according to James in the New Testament.
Firstly, see if there is a common thread amongst all the teachings. Secondly, ask yourself whether the story of Jesus resonates with you in anyway. After that ask yourself if there are any parts of your own life you find is impossible to explain purely mathematically.
If any of this makes you feel even a little that there may be something to spirituality, practise a bit of mindfulness meditation and see if you feel anything.
Regardless of the outcome, you will be wiser having done a few experiments in spirituality.
