God doesn't interfere in everything we do because that would violate free will.
The Ten Commandments were given for a reason—God knew that "false gods" would arise and use religious texts to mislead people. One commandment, "Thou shalt not bow down to graven images," addresses this.
False gods often manipulate through words and language, so it’s no surprise that religious texts might be altered or hijacked over time.
I don't believe God would simply wave His hand to stop someone from changing the Bible—that's not how He works.
God isn’t going to wave his magic hand to stop free will.
If bad actors wanted to change the text.
God isn’t going to wave his hand and telepathically mind control the bad actors like Charles Xavier from the X-men.
God gave us the 10 commandments for a reason.
To be able and to determine if someone altered the text for bad purposes.
If you look at religious wars.
Most wars are fought because we have people arguing over text scriptures.
Which makes them violate God’s commandment of thou shall not kill.
Their argument would be.
It’s ok to kill because the scripture says we are right.
I don’t live by scripture.
I live by the 10 Commandments first.
I can’t join you. I will study the scripture with fervor. It certainly helps relieve my worries about our current state. God DOES step in when He decides it’s warranted.
Parting the Red Sea.
Closing the lions mouths in the Lion’s Den.
Destroying the world with a flood.
Etc.
i'm with you TLCOG. tbh, i can't think of another book in this world that a person can read daily, their entire life (say 70-80 years) and never get bored with it.
and also, finding new and exciting things as well (in the book you've already read), pretty much every time you read it. it's just too amazing for it to be written by man without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
can you imagine reading any other one book for 70-80 years? i couldn't.
Not even a little bit. No other book could possibly compare. There’s no way to fully understand it, or know it, because God keeps revealing different things in the same passage depending on your current struggle.
Over the centuries, it's likely been modified by human hands, making it more of a human product than divine.
The New Testament, for example, is made up of writings from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—human beings who told their own versions of events. The Old Testament also had multiple authors, each writing from their own perspective.
It's not as if these authors sat in a room with God, who dictated word-for-word what to write. These are stories filtered through human experience and interpretation.
On top of that, we have to consider the role of publishers and distributors in spreading religious texts. Just as with any book, there are people involved in getting it into the hands of the public.
With so many religious leaders potentially tied to groups like the "Deep State," can we really believe that these texts haven't been altered at some point in history to serve certain agendas?
before we read the Bible we should pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and teach us as we go.
this is why we need Holy Spirit filled churches and leaders because we need to be taught what God is telling us in His Word. not all are called to be teachers or preachers. we need guidance.
I think you need to do some better research. If you have any interest in making sure you’re right about what IS a Salvation issue, I would suggest Chuck Missler’s “Through the Bible in 24 Hours”
How is it possible for you to believe the 10 Commandments are God Breathed and the rest of His Word to be false?
Have you ever read the Bible in its entirety? It’s pretty far fetched to believe that a volume containing 66 books, written over ~2000 years, by ~40 “authors”, with a 400 year period of silence between the Old and New Testaments has thousands of prophecies in the Old Testament that were fulfilled EXACTLY in the New Testament, and the New Testament referring back to the Old Testament thousands of times is not Divinely Inspired by God Himself.
The Bible is accurate and God Breathed.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
New International Version
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Interestingly, you mentioned the Bible being a collection of history and moral lessons. So have you heeded those lessons? If not, why not? If such body of work is deemed to of little value then what is the relative value of your opinion?
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
She definitely isn't decked in stones etc. Just a huge liar
Harris is not the woman in Revelation. She's just a regular everyday Jesus hating whore puppet of her Satanic masters.
You just described Babylon.
I Agree, Babylon is Revelation chapter 13s dragon, beast, and false prophet.
It's time Babylon saw some judgment.
This is why sometimes I wonder did the Cabal hijack the Bible to insert their controlled narratives.
That would imply that God is not powerful enough to preserve His Word, so no.
God doesn't interfere in everything we do because that would violate free will.

That’s pretty much exactly how He works when it comes to His Word.
Refer to Jeremiah 36:21-28
We need to defend the Holy Inspired Word of God.

John 1:1
If Satan can convince us that the Word of God is flawed, what more can he do to deceive us?
I don’t agree.

That's subjective to interpretation.
Did they see a large face and powerful glowing hand. With a guy saying "I am God... I got this for you??"
Wow! 🤯
His word is forever. I do believe you're somewhat right. They don't hijack the Bible they mock it.

i believe the writers you are talking about were inspired to write as the Holy Spirit directed them.
💯
Yes.. but how we understand them is subjective to our own opinions.
God does not speak in subjective terms.
before we read the Bible we should pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and teach us as we go.

How is it possible for you to believe the 10 Commandments are God Breathed and the rest of His Word to be false?
I believe the scriptures are just stories that we are suppose to get the moral value from.
Lessons in history they are.
I do not believe God sat in a room with select people and said
"Ok guys... now write this down EXACTLY as I tell you... it's my word"

Thank you for your opinion.

He would absolutely protect it.
How?
Waving his magic hand and stopping free will?
I've wondered the same thing.
In Biblical prophecy, the church is represented as a woman.
Purple and scarlet are the robes of the bishops and cardinals.
The Roman Catholic Church is a church known for its possession of golden chalices and other precious jewels.
Think bigger.
Interesting 🧐
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

We do have free will. God knows what we will choose. The Book is already written.
