I know great women in your situation, not widows but they are single because they choose NOT to sleep around or go onto dating apps. I know one lady who met a guy at the airport. Gave her number, next thing she’s getting dick pics. That won’t work for her.
I know another single woman, turned 31 maybe beginning of COVD. She said we were lied to, everyone my generation was lied to I should have had kids already. When I met her at 26 she thought she had forever. There are a ton of shitty comments about black folks which I am one, but it’s not a personal thing. There are a couple of us on this forum and it’s kind of a sift and sort type of thing. Dr Naomi Wolfe has commented on this cat lady trope the past month. And it’s not the hill we want to die on for this movement.
Other example, my mom’s a senior and she makes boomer jokes all day. I’ve repeated one or two of the comments here but our ‘seasoned’ anons may have taken it the wrong way. Context is important. Right as Trump is doing a push for the black and Hispanic vote, literally days later a conservative commentator known as Poso does a white boy summer skit at a conference. It’s just giving fuel to the media to say the movement is sexist racist which it isn’t.
Primaries are for the base, general elections are for more broader appeal. The reason why people have gravitated away from the country club republicans for years was this sort of ‘sucks to be you’ type of attitude. If you weren’t raised by a middle class two parent household, make 300k a year out of the right Ivy League school with the frat or sorority membership, 2.5 kids with the college sweetheart by 29 then you didn’t make it in life perception. So folks went to the DNC platform.
We’ve all been lied to by these commies. We’re all dealing with stuff. The leadership of this nation is dysfunctional and horrific. I am sorry for your loss and hope you stick round. We’ll figure this out as a country. The best is yet to come.

Involved lesbians. They had pictures taken with their dogs. Childless. Joyless. One had 5 houses, including massive mansions, with a butterfly professor as a husband. Tied to deep money. Strange upbringings.
This is before even going into the old stories about how most women didn’t originally want the vote by and large. It was forced on them. Politics, fundamentally, is about the reining-in and deployment of violence and addressal of dangerous situations, which isn’t inclinated toward and shouldn’t typically involve women.
Also once read about how giving women the right to vote tilts the playing field against families. At best, a wife will vote with her husband. If they vote in opposite directions, neither of them has a voice. The single woman can now vote for whatever she wants, while the single man is more likely to die at war or in a dangerous job.
There are obviously a lot of outlier cases and other ways things can play out, and I don’t know the statistics on the things I named, but I do know a lot of women who would love to get rid of the “right” to vote.
I’m curious why it was passed by the Republicans, and why right after WWI ended. What if WWI killed off (intentionally) a massive percentage of conservative, strong men, and their widows were needed to keep numbers up for successfully opposing communist infiltration?
They are childless and single, keep asking men for favors like opening pickle jars. We shall be able to identify them easily.
