Note the upper case "I" in the middle of the word.
Texas stopped having "straight party" voting options this time around. I like that they removed it, although by doing so, it makes casting your ballot take A LOT longer (and thus a much longer time waiting in line to vote).

Not true. If you convert both the above words to upper case you get: REPUBIICAN and REPUBLICAN.
But you can see how easy it is to fool people and, of course, the voting machines know no better.
