Sure, they're all throwing a fit about losing, that it's 2016 all over again, etc. etc. and they hate Trump and conservatives. Nothing new regarding that.
However, there is something very very different about the reaction to this election.
The left is absolutely DUMBFOUNDED at how there are nearly 20 million LESS voters for Harris. They're not suggesting Trump cheated, they're all asking why 20 million people stayed home and didn't vote for their side? There is so much infighting going on with the left, where people are mocking their own voter base by snapping at each other for not coming out in support. (possible redpill in the future when they find out the smaller vote count is due to lack of illegals and dead people voting?)
Not only that, I've NEVER seen the left more PISSED at their own side. I'm seeing countless posts saying they are done with the Democrat party, that the party lied to them, that they're pissed that they virtue signaled by installing Kamala as candidate instead of picking someone more popular and competent. I've seen people continue to seethe about them sidelining Bernie.
I've also seen an enormous amount of people who are disgusted with the fact that Kamala decided not to give a speech last night and instead went home, leaving her supporters hanging.
One democrat voter says: "I find it tremendously disrespectful that Harris/Walz didn't even show up even to lift the spirits of these people. Even if you know it's over a true leader should never leave their people on their own and ask to just leave."
Another democrat voter says: "All of my LGBT colleagues didn't vote for Harris because of Gaza, what a self-own. I'm talking about college-educated people working in tech. They pride themselves on being "deep thinkers" - fucking dipshits."
With Sanders coming out recently and saying the Democrat party "abandoned the working class citizens", even more lefties are incensed with the party.
The best part, I've seen SO many democrats starting to question the media and saying it's not credible anymore because they kept lying to them saying it was a guaranteed win for Harris.
This election has opened the eyes of quite a few leftists. Even if it hasn't opened their eyes in quite the way we would like it to, it has opened their eyes to the fact that the Democrat party is full of liars who don't actually give a shit about the left who supported them. And that's huge.
And one more thing, they are SHOCKED that Trump won the popular vote. I've seen some Democrats start to ask what is it that his voters see in him? And not in an aggressive manner, but a genuine curiosity on their part.
Maybe...in time. I think we need to walk before we run here.
I say this as someone who understands the Christ's true and ultimate message of loving one another as ourselves, with compassion; without all the dogma and judgement that often accompanies and clouds the message via judgement. We don't need any more judgement in either direction...I would go so far as to say, we don't need any religion. Truth. Strength. Patience. Compassion.
These people are miles away from simple logic and reasoning. I think we can transition to Spirit later - after we undo their core operating system/paradigm - and wipe the shit off their windscreens.
Maybe the Holy Spirit and the Christ needs to work through us right now, before we hand it all over to God and let Him take the wheel.
We'll have to get the ball rolling and do the best we can. I think the important part is that we genuinely make an attempt at it. No Lucy and the football bullshit...Integrity is required if we are to lift them up to the higher ground.
100%. Judgment definitely pushes them away. At the same time there is also a reason for something, and nudges and suggestions have to be made.
One thing that’s always been a huge hindrance for myself is the ‘third person generic’ “you”, which easily comes off as pointing fingers, when trying to discuss a generic case.
It is, unfortunately, much easier to not judge, than it is to not be perceived as being judgmental.
As far as tactics on the rest of it… there’s a reason I stopped engaging them on their home turf - not a lack of willingness, but a total absence of known positive results.
