I’m no foreign policy expert, but what’s in the deal for Ukraine? I can understand a DMZ like Korea — though it’s really postponing the issue instead of solving it — but least give back Ukraine some of its territory.
Ukraine thugs attacked East Ukraine for years and years. Killing tens of thousands. Mass graves are everywhere over there. YouTube videos were showing this over ten years ago. They don’t deserve East Ukraine. That’s one of the main reason Russia engaged. Enough was enough. So heck no. Ukraine should be thankful they aren’t totally wiped out as a country and scattered to the winds for what they’ve done. Not to mentioned all the deepstate activities. If I were Zelensky, I’d agree to whatever they want. Might keep his head on his shoulders.
Many in the West don’t realise that the Minsk Accords were a ruse to build up the military in Ukraine. Putin trusted the West. But he was badly betrayed.
Those that escaped the burning building were shot as they tried to jump out of the windows. There were children in that building. From the signing of the Minsk Accords in 2014/2015, those Russian speaking civilians in the Donbass, had to virtually live underground to escape the Nazi battalions of the Ukrainian military equipped to the hilt by US, UK and French nations. Billions of taxpayer money flowed into Ukraine and is still flowing.
What Russia wants, which was stated when they entered Ukraine back in 2022 at the start of the SMO, was to demilitarise and denazify Ukraine. Putin has said this more than once, until this is accomplished, there will be no negotiations with zelensky.
Many Russians still living in Ukraine were sent to the front lines already. If you see on Telegram channels what they do to Ukrainian men they capture by force, you will understand why the Ukrainian people are revolting against forced conscription. Those Ukrainians grabbed off the streets, out of restaurants, education facilities etc. and sent to the frontline with 2 days of training, last on average 4 hours. Men as old as 65 are sent as well as teens. Pictures at the start of the SMO of boys as young as 14, was common. The sad confused look on their faces is something I’m trying to forget.
Okay, so it doesn’t have to be territory. My point still stands. When you negotiate, you give each side something they want. Right now, I see nothing in this plan that makes Ukraine want to come to the table.

From 2014/2015, 14,000 Russian speaking citizens in Ukraine were massacred, including this terrible genocide.

Ethnic Russians living in Eastern Ukraine have chosen to leave Ukraine. They want nothing to do with the Ukrainian government.
There is nothing to "give back" to Ukraine.
Correct!!

With Trump in charge, there will be no more money or other aid to Ukraine.
That means they lose badly to Russia.
That is their motivation to bring this thing to an end.
Either Zelensky finds a way out, or he dies.
