Some of it is over my head, but other parts are definitely explaining some things I’ve missed in my interpretation of the mechanics of the last 30 years and further back.

That makes me happy you enjoyed it! A lot of concepts flew over my head as well -my Dad has a very deep understanding of the paper gold story and discussing how the BIS operates so I got a lot of help from him but it's still something I come back to and reread over.
