Yes I have seen some white-paper drawings from the sixties, judging by the style, of the Bering strait connection.
That Russian plan is quite detailed, showing the different geology, and planning for Island stops.
Also: one would need a little World Peace, for a change, if one was to be serious about such a plan. (also reminds me of Musk's Boring Company). I really pray that Trump will stick to his word, and not fall prey to the snatcher-grabbers. A Bering Strait connection would change everything. But, giving the current climate of military-industrial terrorism (Think Nordstream), some ground rules have to be esablished.
Making nice with Russia would come a long way.
I am still in two minds whether Trump can calm things down in the ME, however.
It appears to be coming. Some of the remaining “roadblocks” on this project appear to be getting removed now. As you keenly observe there must be peace with Russia for optics to be optimal for it to proceed publicly. I suspect if you went to these locations on the map in person you would see preparatory activity now.
Any pedes in Alaska?
I may be soon (to visit). Looking at land to buy near Fairbanks (as investment to get some cash out of fiat). Not sure if I will make it over by Nome (near proposed tunnel site), but locals may have intel on it.
Buy some land with gold underneath. It might not be economical to mine today.......
Dad used to live in Nome when I was a kid (circa 30ish years ago). Not too shabby then.
Alaska is great if you love nature (and 6 months of insomnia, or 6months with 4 hours of sunlight, snow drifts covering the door, and car engines freezing without the right kit installed).
It is a hopeful little sprout of an olive tree that might be picked by a dove one day.
