It seems like years have passed since Matt Gaetz went on Tucker Carlson's show - when he was still at Fox I mean - and completely denied this entire thing and said that when everything was revealed he would be completely vindicated of any wrongdoing.
Is that perhaps WHY they have decided to DRAG this along until now? Long after the DOJ has closed it's own investigation into the same matter and decided not to charge Gaetz with anything?
