I was just watching a video wherein a affluent liberal dad was asking AITAH for cutting off college tuition and room and board for his two sons because they voted for Trump.
Naturally, every liberal responded he had "done the right thing" and was a "great dad" for "teaching his kids a valuable lesson".
If this is true (let's assume for a moment that it is) -- I am curious about the following issue:
When a woman divorces a wealthy man she receives alimony because she has "grown accustomed to a lifestyle". (Let's not get sidetracked into a discussion about whether or not alimony is justified, okay?)
I am curious then -- as to whether these two sons (who have grown accustomed to a lifestyle of having their tuition and room and board paid by dad) would have cause to bring legal action because they have been cut off of funding due to their choice to vote for Trump.
How different is it really? Both cases involve being cut off from funding due to an inability to "get along".
Just throwing it out there in case this idea spreads. Many young people voted for Trump.
These two sons will be well served by not being exposed to the liberal propaganda found in most colleges. The man may have actually saved his sons. I'll bet he wasn't counting on that...
The important point here is that the sons, in college, voted for Trump, even though they were raised by a D dad. Dems are becoming irrelevant. There's hope for the future.
I doubt they could bring legal action, if they're over 18 the dad doesn't have to give them anything. Political beliefs isn't a protected class i guess.
The dad taught them a great lesson in liberal insanity.
If anyone is aware of a crowd funding site for their college funds, please post a link.
How does dad know for whom his kids voted? Where I live voting intention is secret, assisted by a curtain you can pull in the voting booth.
Apparently, there was a discussion over dinner where the dad asked them casually. Both sons are business majors and replied that they voted for Trump because he was good for business and because of the immigration issue. The Dad went ballistic because he felt the kids did not have the "empathy" for what he considered "marginalized groups" that he felt he instilled in them due to his liberal influence.
It seems both sons did not expect the dad to go batshit crazy during what they believed was a casual conversation.
