It’s actually pretty overtly rape-y. It used to be my favorite John Hughes movie but recently I realized, wait, wtf? The boyfriend “gives” his intoxicated girlfriend to some other dude to have sex with, while she can’t consent, and she barely remember it, and we’re supposed to accept it just because she’s not a virgin? Yikes
