I really feel for you. IG when there is any problem feels like a giant mute monster, a wall of suppression. Try putting in search on IG, "account retrieval" or "help with IG problem" etc. You most likely will be shown pages of the people who help solve issues. Some are scammers, some are real. Maybe try this on someone elses's IG account. If you respond to any for more info, look for non IG contact info. If you have no account yourself you need some other way of working with anyone on IG. Ask for references! Most of the IG help are scammers. I miss "My Space" sheesh.
If you get started eleswhere, maybe you can get your fam and friends to connect with you over there. Also if you open a new IG using a variant of your name and a different phone number that might work, and reconnect with people. The social media online world is a nightmare.
I have a new variant account started but I really just want my old pictures and friendship history back. And yes, Meta provides zero way to contact them even if I buy a premium Meta add on. Iām going to resort to probably paying an actual lawyer in Germany. Or rely on good people like you that know someone in Meta to help me.
