No charges should be given. PERIOD!
The swamp creatures insist on finding him guilty of something. He's a hero and the blob hates that.
This is setting a very bad precedent. This gives the state incentive to overcharge and if it doesn't stick, just drop it last minute. No charges should be allowed dropped after the jury has started deliberating. The case is closed and in their hands.
It is also obvious, this is about getting a conviction, not in the interest of justice. The jury couldn't get to the latter charges unless they reached a unanimous decision on the first. They didn't. Dismissing that charge does not change the fact that they had not reached a unanimous decision and therefore should NOT even be deliberating anything after.
Nope, but this is where we are & it's all on full display, now. If I were insane enough to live in NYC, believe I'm not stepping in for anyone, at anytime. They've made that clear they're going to punish you for it.
Hopefully Trump will give him a pardon.
Won’t happen bc it’s a civil case.
Won't happen because it's a STATE case. (New York state to be specific.)
Yep, that makes sense. Good point.
Negligent homocide is a civil case? But still faces possible prison time if convicted? Confused.
I haven't heard anything about 'when' the civil case will actually be brought forward but the father of deceased is saying that he is going to sue for wrongful death. The guy hasn't been involved in his son's life in forever but there may be a 'lottery' that he can win in a civil case against Penny. (Think about the OJ case. OJ was acquitted of murder but somehow was still found liable in a civil case.)
Point being - there probably will be a civil case in the near future.
Absolutely.
He can't
