She's beautiful. So are all of the others. Any of them would have been fine, imo. Just like in the Olympics when the top score spread in a judged event for the 3 medals spans only a few hundredths of a point. That ranking order is all from subjective human judges and what they saw at the time. I think this is a weak argument by the twitter person.
EDIT - looked at all of the photos again - anyone else notice that the 'winner' photo was a live event, with stage event lighting (horrible) and she was expressing emotion, while........, all of the runner-up photos were professionally lit, posed, and chosen to be the most flattering out of their photo 'session'. Should post the winner's professionally posed and retouched portrait beside all of the others for honest comparison.
The NtB articles point is that in 1990 we could trust that the judges picked who they truly thought was the most beautiful and talented. Now after 30+ years of having the DEI shit shoved down our throats we are right to suspect that isnt the case here.
The winner is cute. But shes 34 and has a boy band haircut. They changed the rules in 2022 to allow women over 24 to enter. Did you see the pics of the other girls? At least in beauty the winner doesnt come close.
I had to look elsewhere. Strange that the complainer does not include a photo in her post. But she is a beauty. (I speak from an educated eye, witness to many beautiful women in Zambia.) I don't at all agree that the competition was more beautiful. Too many bony faces. Carpers will carp. I would also point out that the French have been socially more accepting of black men and women.
