Just look at the Fortune 100 Engineering Consulting Firms; most likely many were. What I saw in 5 years was high turnover at the CHSRA. State workers padded their retirements bigly with one year causing a lot of re-hashing decisions made earlier. Initially it was going to cost $33B for the entire project. Then, before I left it was $68B for Phase 1. They split it into two phases and 10 years later it could cost $128B just for Phase 1?
Criminal.
Hey Ffairchild did you do the Bridge over the San Joaquin River? I always tell the wife that will be a beautiful farmers market one day. The views must be incredible!
As they should. I worked on the Fresno to Palmdale section for 5 years. That was from 2009-2014 and still no bullet train.....
Who are the contractors getting paid to accomplish nothing?
And which politicians are they "contributing" to (i.e. bribes)?
And where/to whom are their "expenses" going?

Yeah, the contractors and the politicians they are giving kickbacks to shouldn’t be able to walk down the streets EVER AGAIN!
Let’s tar and feather these fuckers! Just like the good ol’ days.

Nope, but that's a pretty high bridge.
