I take Trump to mean what he says in a provocative way, not in any truly effective way. Were he actually to do anything, it would be an egregious deed. There may be an ulterior purpose. I notice that Denmark has raised the defense budget for Greenland.

Who says it is "rich in rare earth minerals"? Most of Greenland is covered in ice, so who was doing the survey drillholes?
