The Star-Spangled Banner has gone downhill since Whitney Houston changed it from a 3/4 time signature to a 4/4 time signature. I tend to prefer the march, but all that being said. That was awesome!
The Star Spangled Banner is one of a few songs that I believe does not need, nor should ever be, personalized. Great harmonies here, beautiful voices and mostly following the original tune. What I find unpleasant is artists that do the popular "voice flutter" warbling and exagerated range to "make the song their own". Every citizen owns this song, it's not yours to modify. Sing it straight, the way it was written. Its value is the consistency.
