I believe it was a military style attempt to assassinate the crown prince of Saud. Trump sent in a rescue team to save him and the collateral damage was the assassins making cover for their getaway. Remember how the prince went around the world to help Trump as a thank you for saving him?

Yes - The Prince went around to Big Tech to essentially do the "capitulation tour" with Big Tech the same as Trump did with heads of state.
