I've been driving, with two exceptions for family, since they were feeling me up after 9/11. Not because of fear of hijacking, but because of security theater. But this wave of crashes is probably a combination of outsourced cheap engineering, dei cheap maintenance, and good old-fashioned alphabet agency wetwork. Until we know exactly who was on the flights, we won't be able to judge on the latter.
I haven’t flown since TWA800
The Jehu Korea crash could have been prevented if the airport hadn't put a mound of dirt at the end of the runway. I'm beginning to believe Asians are smart people in mathematics and higher level sciences, yet not too bright at putting obstacles in easy reach of airplanes at the end of runways. What an odd place to put an antenna. Like blancolirio stated in his YT vid, the antenna should have been on a flat base with a break a way support system, not planted on top of a hill. Ugh, Stevie Wonder could have seen that! Plus there was a concrete wall backing up the hill, so even if the antenna structure was broached, the plane would have ran smack into the wall.
Probably setting up a reason to restrict air travel because of “safety ”
Yep. I'll drive.
