Cops who hate being recorded while doing illegal, unconstitutional searches or abusing an innocent person will abuse this law by walking up to anyone they see with a camera as a problem and force them back, then keep walking up to them untill they're 100 feet away.
It'll just give them 25 feet of freebie space at which point they'll push people further and threaten arrest for not complying. This is a bad idea, plain and simple
I dont know how strictly the distance wiill be enforced but just for perspective 25 feet is a tad over 8yards.
Less than the distance for a first down in Football.
Seems like any normal Iphone/Galaxy can zoom in and capture the details WITHOUT impeding officer or missing any relevant details.

At least this law gives specific guidelines that can be challenged/referenced should it becomes broken by law

Dont see why this would make any ARSE cop more aggressive.
If anything it give the guys who want to be fair but who has to tow the line between that and safety concerns some guidelines.
