Cash for clunkers was a payment program to China... steel... vehicles (also never crushed but shipped to ME and used as payment/money Laundering) and major appliances...

Interesting now some years later how China can start a fire remotely in your house via your new appliances...shoulda kept that old Kenmore, son...

Cash for clunkers removed a large portion of repairable older vehicles that young drivers could have afforded while pushing ever increasing electronics and remote tech on the newer vehicles. Now new cars are even more expensive with the less supply and they are a computer/electric nightmare to work on when they fail. You will own nothing and be happy comes to mind.

I'm curious how it works. Does the DEW continuously blast down on the areas that are on fire so that they burn faster?

So, obviously nobody has the complete picture, but there are videos on YT showing that lasers capable of burning things cant damage certain colors. What's interesting, is if the unaffected color is nearby, it will also protect any of the non protected colors in the immediate vicinity. The safe color seems to either absorb or reflect/refract enough energy to not damage nearby unprotected things. So, if this can was left there and actually survived the fire as claimed, perhaps that's why. I saw this same thing happen with Maui fires for cars that were clearly in the line of fire. I'm probably going down to LA for fire debris removal and post fire mud slide surveys. I'll absolutely have my eyes on a swivel for this phenomenon.

Buuuut, if that’s not the case, if this van really rode out the fire (and, presumably, the precipitating space lasers), to answer your huffy question: if blue doesn’t absorb DEW energy, white logically won’t, either.
