We wanted to buy a new SUV. We did not need one but ours old SUV was 10 years old with 70K miles on it. We decided that once President 45~47 was inaugurated it was safe to fiance a car for 4 years. Have it payoff in case lefty's managed to steal another election.Happy Freedom Day!

70k miles? That's a new car for me! I usually pick up a "new" Toyota with 120k miles, then drive it for 5-8 years. Pay cash. Insurance is lower. When repairs go beyond brakes and tires, time to do it over again.
Im in this camp.. except my 95gmc has over 245k miles on it..
My 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD with almost 180k miles is in the shop right now getting a new 3 inch lift, forged tie rods, a steering stabilizer, and new wheels and tires installed. I want to run this thing for as long as it goes!
Diesel? 245 is awsome. Good job with maintenance. I've got a buddy with an F250 at 475k.
305 actually. Original engine but I did have the transmission rebuilt a couple years ago.
Nothing like getting a new president and a new car on the same day. Seems like winning to me. 🏆
I was going to buy groceries, but now I'll wait for the price to go down...
Kek.
Congrats! It's great to see someone getting what they want.
Congrats.
Wish I could afford a car with 70k miles on it. Bought my 4Runner with 160k on it. And that’s up from the last one, when it was bought with 245k mikes on it. Still going strong with no problems. I tell people me and the wife have 4Runners and I get the “whoa, y’all are loaded”. Until they see them. A 2005 and ‘11. And as of today, combined 450k miles for them.
This is our 5th Honda. I was a big buy American cars until you could not get more than 50K on them before they turned to shit. We bought our first Honda and got 210K miles on it second one got 250K. We did not have to put a tone of miles on our cars any longer. But they just last so long without falling apart.
Sure, I didn't read this until I posted my last one jokingly shaming you on the low miles... ignore that :) - good stuff - cars last a long time if you take care of 'em
I'm driving my 4th Honda, and have over 250k miles on it so far.
ah... so not a real SUV? (I am completely joking being a grand cherokee owner - had a Honda before) ... but man, I wish I only had 70k on it... we're 11 years old and at 198k.
I got a new one four years ago near the end of Trump's previous term. It has less than 30,000 miles, so I believe I'll keep it a few more years. I hope to pay cash for a new one sometime in the future, if I live that long or the car starts failing sooner. I don't trust where the newer cars are going as far as surveillance crap. My current car doesn't have the GPS, but does have a CD player.
70k? Need a new one? Most engines don’t even get brown in til 50k. Hope you got a good interest rate!
I don't have to change my spark plugs until 60k...
I have a 2019 Lexus SUV NX 350. My manual says 1st spark plug change - 100,000 miles. I have 29,589 miles on it in 6 yrs. At 70 I don’t know if I will be around for the 1st spark plug replacement!🤷🏻♀️‼️
