I've seen the same from The Military Times or Stars and Stripes, but dealing with "Who's in charge of the Pentagon".
Fake News is doing that with various cabinet-level agencies because the only one that has a new Secretary is the Dept of State (Rubio). He flew through confirmation and was voted in yesterday. They are trying to scare people, but there are always undersecretaries, or contingency plans for this scenario. It happens every new administration, so the Fake News is just continuing their gaslighting.
