Funny I just spoke with someone (older civilian) who had worked with Navy Seals for months. He said they were some of the most respectful young men that he had ever met. He said they would joke around, work out alot and even play video games. But when it came time for a mission they were all in, dedicated and intensely focused.
I dunno. A lot of SEALs are just glory hounds, chasing social media fame, lying about their service record, and thinking they're better than everyone else.
Marcus Luttrel, Chris Kyle, Britt Slabinsky, and Eye Patch McCain. All liars.
"SES sycophants"! I worked directly for an SES for 3 (miserable) years out of the 26 I worked for the Federal government. I can attest that the SES I knew was a sycophant.....
I spent 45 years in DC, so government is "in my blood". I worked largely in the DOD/IC and have worked with many SES and SIS. Some were very serious and professional as well as dedicated to the mission and good stewards of the taxpayers money. Some were as useful as teats on a boar.
An SIS-3 friend of mine was very high up at Langley, and his entire family was a fouled up, hot mess. I'm not even sure how he held a clearance, though he was clean. The clearance process always amazed me - inefficient, ineffective.
I've known, but never worked for SES outside of the DOD/IC, and most of them were mid to low grade human beings.
Those who have never worked close to the senior execs don't fully understand the power and the permanence of the Deep State.
Wow 45 years! A lot of my friends stayed in the DC area just going from Coast Guard unit to Coast Guard unit. I thought about that route but I liked the deep south too much so I returned "home". The particular SES I worked for would sometimes quote scripture, putting himself in the place of Jesus.....He was a very smart, driven man I'll give him that. After 3 years I had enough of him. I even asked him to "fire me" (I was serious). His reply: "When I get ready to fire you, I'll fire you. But I'm not ready to fire you"! Fond memories....
I moved there from FL as a kid, and grew up in NoVA. 3 years ago, my agency was trying to force the vax on everyone. It was at that point where my wife and I decided to sell the house and move to NC. Our kids (at the time) were in college down here and eventually all settled in Charlotte. I wish we had moved sooner. I haven't been back since. Haven't seen my parents in 3+ years.
Smart move! I was a contractor for a large international company for 25 years. They required everyone to get the vax. I refused.....so they no longer used my services. Later, after things settled down they invited me back.....NOPE!
A Navy Seal, now there's someone who will get the job done or there will be "hell to pay". Good choice DJT.

One good piece of info
Biden failed NC for sure. I believe DJT is heading there shortly and I am sure this will be put on the front burner for getting those folks help.
