Whoever is advising Trump on Russia needs to be fired ASAP.
First of all, they didn't lose 60 million lives during WW2, but 27(still a lot).
Second of all, there is nothing he can threaten them with except direct military invasion or escalating the aid dramatically, which would be counter to the reason people voted for him to begin with.
The US currently sanctions all of their goods, hence why the price of raw materials being so high worldwide. Saying "we're going to sanction you even more" will just make them roll their eyes. It's part of their culture to be threatened and fight against superpoweres(the Ottomans, Napoleon, Germany during WWI, Germany during WW2, the US during the cold war), so this is just another Tuesday for them.
A better tactic would be to invite them to the negotiating table and ask what they want and see if a deal can be worked out that way. Maybe that Trump is trying to do, however Russians don't take lightly to intimidation. You get way more by just being polite to them believe it or not.
I think the President is talking about the combined losses by the US and Russia in World War II. The truth is that Putin wants this war to be over, and so does President Trump. This is just the opening volley, if you will.
The losses for the entire WW2, including the Pacific theater are estimated to be at 50 million people. That's why I mentioned, that his Russia advisor needs to be fired. If you don't know how many people they, then chances are you don't know how they think.
We'll see how it's going to be. Putin wants the war to be over on his terms, aka no NATO in Ukraine and referendums for all the eastern Ukraine oblast including Odessa, Dnipro, Zaporozhie, Kharkov, etc.
IMO I think Ukraine needs to be disbanded as a nation state all together since it was created like a Frankenstein country by the bolsheviks and Lenin from the territories of Russia, Bielorussia, Poland, Romania, Moldova and God know who else.
All of these countries need to get their historic lands back and what's rest needs to be rebranded by it's historical accurate name: Galicia. They even had a SS devision with that name composed of ethnic Ukranians.
There was this video where a guy did a deep dive to find out that Russia is currently paying on par with what the US military does. As a result, they have the biggest standing army since the conflict began.
Not bad for a country who's supposedly falling apart any day now.
The truth is that the Russian economy is not falling apart, it is China's economy that is doing so. Russia's economy is self sustaining and is close to what President Trump's envision for our economy. I remember seeing a video of a Russian supermarket with everything being well stocked with stable prices.
Russia is still exporting to the US? There has not been much data on this topic since the Ukrainian war started
IMO ---- this threat has no teeth to it.

IMO ----- Russia's economy is not failing.
The Globalist's economy with Russia is failing.
Not the same thing. Sanctions don't seem to bother Russia nearly as much as Nancy not getting her vodka.

There you got it boys ----- totally leverage ----- no more AK47s, vodka and matryoshka dolls. And to think, I was just to about to buy a Lada.
Given the current state of automotive quality, (and over-computerization) ...
... the Lada might just be an improvement.
imagine if the kamel was president... she'd tell Putin.. "don't"..... now there's some power!!! kek
You can almost feel the strength of it reverberating around the globe.
One more life should be taken and that's Fauci. If Putin wants his head, I say we give it to him
Takes care of that little pardon problem we have with him.
I'd say he had a lot to do with the biolabs in Ukraine which ultimately led to the war
"Let's Make a Deal" = game show
We've gone from watching a movie to watching TV.
Putin no doubt wants it over.
