I wonder if there's some way we can organize care packages for these troops. It's gotta be hotter than heck (well maybe not this week, but it will be) on the Southern border. They need to know we have their backs just as much as if they were overseas.
It's really just a different sandbox for a good part of the border as I understand it.

The USO I know is one big org dedicated to things like that.
There are a zillion LEGIT groups that do stuff like that.

I used to do it at my employer for Christmas. Bunch of work, but worth it. Helps if you can find an officer you can send a big box to and let him distribute among his men rather than sending dozens of little boxes.
Don't know how practical it would be to do remotely. Maybe some sort of a gofundme? Would have to be very public and transparently done though.

I hope they start flying jets and helicopters overhead regularly
and if they accidentally fly in and take out some of the cartels it would be a bonus
