Don't think I'd want to be the pilot, though. Doubt those flights have stewardesses. I'd imagine there be some incoming small arms fire trying to taxi and take off, too. They'd probably destroy the bathrooms, the seats and everything else. It looks like those in line are handcuffed. I wouldn't unlock them, either. Best to just throw them the key after the last one exits and the plane has already started to taxi.

Perhaps you're onto something. What if Trump offered free one way airplane rides to immigrants that want to return home? If they turn themselves in, it wouldn't count against them as a deportation and they could apply like they're supposed to

You laugh but part of the reason for Hawaii's big homeless problem is that people use the last of their money to fly there one-way figuring if they're going to be homeless might as well be sleeping on an island beach. Also Hawaii is probably one of the most communistic of the blue states by this point.

They should track the costs of these individuals, and if any wants to try to return later, step 1 would be pay off all debts incurred (deportation costs, unpaid bills, etc.)
I’m at a hotel about 5 hours from the border. Just saw about 10 individuals that looked like they were in the process of self deporting. Hopefully many will do this so they can re-enter legally at a later date. Do those atm cards work in other countries or just US?
