And why should we get rid of FEMA? Because they have shown their incompetence the last 4 years. Incompetence on steroids. It's almost like they wanted to show how incompetent they are, so they could be done away with. ;O)
It's not incompetence at all. It's pure criminality.
Weaponized incompetence - "they" used Biden for it all the time. No accountability.
It’s absolutely this.
Willful ignorance is weaponized negligence.
But it's the incompetence that will stick in the minds of the citizens. Now they can say, "You know, FEMA really has done a terrible job." 10 years ago the thought of abolishing FEMA would have drawn out daggers. Now, it will be accepted.
The idea of abolishing FEMA would have been cheered on years prior to that by the victims of hurricanes Katrina, and Rita, and so many other disasters.
FEMA has long been despised by many who had no voice to be heard. Fortunately our president hears the unheard and, cares.

Sometimes I wonder if one of the purposes of DEI was to disguise sabotage as incompetence to the normies.
