There was also the 30 round Kalthoff Repeaters. The First iterations of which Reportedly began appearing around the mid 1600s in service with Danish Troops in limited numbers. There was also numerous models of Repeating Air Rifles. Though Finicky and somewhat delicate systems deterred the adoption of repeating Rifles on a large scale.
Though Specialized Regiments were raised in a few countries and armed with varying models to various degrees of success
So, should automatic weapons just be legal, then? We just abolish the ATF completely and go from there? I suppose if everyone had automatic weapons, then no one would want to start any shit because they know they would get mowed down.
We already have that. No country is willing to invade us anyway, or even has the capability. And, when it comes down to it, if the nukes start flying, then small arms won't make a difference.

The technical part is simply amazing, though fragile. It has a 30 shot capacity with automatic powder distribution, and a good separation between powder container (in the butt stock) and the fire-action.
