PAT25 did acknowledge- they were on different frequency- UHF

No response is heard on the ATC audio feed. Fox News has learned that the helicopter did respond, but on a different frequency, a frequency for helicopters.

Good info thank you. If the ATC had a headset on he probably only was monitoring the main frequency. Otherwise cross talk could interfere with what you were hearing.
