Why was USA funding both sides of the war? Almost as if they wanted a war.

Nothing went into Gaza without Israeli approval. Everything was blockaded. It was an open air prion for the poor Palestinians. The Israelis were stealing land that did not belong to them. You're allowed to defend yourself.
