I have always used it as a mind hack. I teach my "students" To write down what they want to do in their life time. After i force them to make their lists. I explain that by putting it on paper they have now made their own minds find a path to their goals. It creates momentum. By writing it down you activated the wonders of Manifestation. All you realy did was set goals. If there is no destination it's easy to get lost in an ocean. This is the short version of that lecture. Some day I may just write a short book about it.

As an amateur apologist, I found that the first red flag in any teaching is who they say Jesus Christ. If they say He's not God or the only way to salvation, then it's false.
Well, in order to be something, you do have to believe in it. That is at the very heart of "manifestation." And Jesus did say that we have that power. The bigger issue is how "manifestation" is being peddled to the masses. I guess most will have to find out the hard way.

Exactalutely!!! Learn all about the occult infiltration in not only the modern self-help movement, but also all forms of modern religions and it permeates (and ruins) Christianity. It's in all the multi level marketing companies, coaching and business improvement, so much. It's simply yuck.
My cousin was a "preacher" in Amway, in the 90s and early 2ks, Amway was renamed a few years ago, and that's a practice they use. Just another cult...shaped like a pyramid, too...
There'd be thousands at these conventions and I saw films of them he showed me. Frenzied, screaming acolytes and overvthe top adoration of the speaker(s).

I disagree. People worship Jesus which goes against Jesus' teachings. Jesus made it clear that we are not to worship him. He was a teacher who taught us how to reach God inside ourselves.
"Cast your net on the right side of the boat" (John 21:6) has nothing to do with fishing. "If your eye is single, your whole body shall be full of light" (Matthew 6:22). Do you think he was talking about people with only one eyeball, or was he speaking about focusing your inner eye on the universe within?
Matthew 6:22 says, "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light".
Jesus told us to seek first the kingdom of Heaven inside ourselves but modern Christians (under Jewish influence) refuse to do this.
Jesus addressed this in Luke 6:46 "Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?".
EDIT: Here are a couple more Bible verses: Luke 17:21 says, "nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or 'There!' for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you".

The Holy Bible itself says this: Psalm 82:6 "I have said, 'You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High'".
What you are saying in this post is to ignore the Holy bible itself and follow the teachings of man.
