That seems a little weird. KFC is owned by a company called Yum Brands. Yum owns Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC, and Habit Burger.

Pizza Hut’s HQ is in Plano, Texas. Taco Bell and Habit Burger’s HQ is in Irvine, CA. KFC was the only brand co-located with Yum’s HQ in Louisville, Kentucky.

Evidently, 100 positions will relocate from Kentucky to Texas. The parent company will remain in Louisville and employs 560 people.
