It doesn’t matter what the Senate passed, they just had to pass something to get the Budget Reconciliation process started. Now a team from each chamber will work to “reconcile” the two different bills.
The resulting budget bill then goes back to each chamber for approval. The good news is the final, negotiated bill cannot be filibustered in the Senate.

This needs to move up. Understanding the rules is pretty much paramount. Votes are not always what they seem.
