Could this be referencing a sleeper cell activated? These plane mishaps seem intentionally common, possibly DEI driven (?). Not in the industry, so not my circus.
A Southwest Airlines plane and Flexjet aircraft nearly collided at the Chicago Midway International Airport on Tuesday. The clash was averted after the Southwest pilot performed a go-around by briefly touching down on the runway in order to prevent a potential incident. According to the airline, its flight 2504, which came from Omaha, Nebraska, landed safely at the Chicago airport after avoiding the other aircraft on the runway.
Mistakes happen. The president commenting on this specific incident with this specific language is notable. Why the quotes? He’s diagonally referencing another meaning for sleeping, IMO.
what is interesting, there was another incident at Reagan (DCA) involving an American Airlines flight as well. Similar situation. I have not heard any of the tower communications. In theory, a ground controller could have cleared the NetJets to cross that runway. It is just sloppy flying IMO. I am a pilot and I ALWAYS look at the final approach before crossing active runways when given a clearance to cross. There does not seem to be much information available that I have seen, like it's being swept under the rug. I can tell you that Runway Incursions is a major focus in recurrency training, which this would be considered an incursion. It is just odd to have it happening basically on the same day, with 2 major airlines.
It's kind of like driving, when I pull out from a stop sign into cross traffic, I always look both ways at least twice to make sure I didn't miss a car or motorcycle. I've almost pulled out in front of a motorcycle before because when I looked he was hidden behind my side mirror. Luckily I looked again as I got ready to pull out and stopped in time.
Exactly why I’m elevating the topic. And yes, the DC event was definitely swept under the rug. 👀 on! Could be the sloppy flying virus, but we know 7/10 plane crashes are targeted. Could be nothing. Could be something. We dig, anons!
This particular incident just seems like a mistake by a crew on the FlexJet. They just did not fully understand their taxi instructions and or they did not know just where they were on the airport. Blancolirio on YOUTUBE has a great video that includes the ground (taxi) communication between the FlexJet and the ground controler. FlexJet ask for directions a couple of times and then at a critical moment when the ground controller is trying to speak to the FlexJet crew someone else is transmitting on the same frequency so the FlexJet crew does not hear the final command by the ground controller to "hold short" of the runway in use.
Taxing around an airport like that can be very confusing. Pilots are supposed to be on top of that. The FlexJet crew just screwed up.

sleeping could mean hypnotized, as in controlled, or zoned out from a certain clot shot.
Mkultra
Yes. Creepy possibility.
Texting while driving is always dangerous! :)
What the hell is this about, you ask??

I think he just means the dude was in his world, not paying attention.

Several scenarios:
Asleep overtired and/or hangover
Texting while transiting runways
R/C take over of aircraft
Sleeper suicide cell activated
Daydreaming
MKUltra type of take over
Feel free to add or brain storm more possibilities....
Alllll running through my mind. Another would be: was anyone significant to the good guys on the commercial airliners?
Sleeper could also mean MkUltra

The only qdrop with “sleeping” - 626
There are ten of them.

This one seems explainable…but two similar incidents in one day is a little too much coincidence for my creep-o-meter, ya know?
Someone was playing recordings of Kamala speeches.
What was her name? The pilot of the plane crossing the runway.
Or "their" name...
Lol
Curious why plane crashes have been in the media more than ever when we aren’t having more than normal?
Are we not? I haven’t checked that data. 😂 Just wondering about that “sleeping” reference. Curious!
No, stats from January of 2025 to previous years is average. We actually had more in 2023.
In.ter.esting. MM latched on is indeed curious.
