I'm so glad we are over that "Back the Blue" bullshit psyop. Because the police certainly do not deserve a blanket "Back the Blue" mentality. Do I support law enforcement? Hell yes, but you do not just get my full and unquestioning allegiance when there are so many corrupt or poorly-trained and impulsive officers within your national ranks. Fix your shit, blue boys. You need to make examples of the bad ones in order to get public support for the good ones.
American cops have the reputation that, you either follow their orders or they’ll kill you. I mean really, that’s the overall thought process for most civilians. Now most people will follow through. But cops aren’t trained enough to handle the “won’t comply” very well. You see their emotions kick in. And then, they have the right to kill you. Maybe not on paper, but the law protects them instantly. The citizen is the one to blame..always. And as a cop told me once, a dead witness is the best witness. Dead people can’t argue their case in court. And video is just that. Video. Barely holds up in court nowadays.
