WTF!!! Misspellings Matter - The Hur Report on Biden's Classified Materials
🧐 Research Wanted 🤔
Hat tip to my hubby for this discovery. This is C o m e y / C o r n e y vibes.
Regarding the Hur Report of the Special Counsel on the Investigation Into Biden's Unauthorized Removal, Retention, and Disclosure of Classified Documents - link posted below this text - search the document for "Biden." Now search again using "Eiden." Look at how they have this misspelled 830 times !!!!! No way this is an accident. It looks like a B but it is an E.

Once you've searched for Eiden, copy/paste the text into notepad to see it clearly.
I'm not seeing it. Can someone point me to just one example of this in the pdf? Page number?
To me, they all look like 'Biden'.
But when I do a search for 'Eiden', I get 830 results.
When I search for 'Biden', I get 968 results.
But all appear to be the word with a 'B'.
Seems only way you could do this is to use a pre-printed or watermarked document with the B in the exact spot of the E in every Eiden instance, then when publishing the actual text it's Eiden but appears as Biden because of the overlay. Curious how OP's hubby would have found it if there's nothing there to catch your eye.
Yes, it is curious. Why in the world would he even think to search for Eiden? I zoomed in on the document and the words all appear to be Biden. I am perplexed.
When you search for "Biden", there are many instances of Biden in the document, but when you search for "Eiden", you don't really see it, because "Biden" is still being highlighted.
It's similar to when you make an error on a paper with a pen, so you white-out the error, then write over the white-out part, but sometimes you can still see the error under the white-out.
It's like that with this PDF.
Thanks. I can't even spot an overlaid B/E. Do you have a page number with an example?
It doesn't really show on the PDF. When you see "Mr. Biden", it says exactly that, but when you search for "Eiden", "Biden" gets highlighted.
If you copied that sentence into a notepad or a note app, it will show up as "Mr. Eiden" instead of "Mr. Biden".
And to answer your question, it's pretty much on every page in the document.
Here is one example:
https://files.catbox.moe/nwxbxw.png -- Look at the top part, where I typed in "Eiden" in the search box and there are two "Biden" highlighted. This is on "page 3" (PDF page 3, not the document page), or rather, the title page of the document.
https://files.catbox.moe/t161je.png -- Here, you can see the same highlighted names are now "Eiden" in notepad, instead of "Biden".
Hope this helps!
Thanks so much. Yes, not visible with the naked eye on the PDF, and seems to only come up in a find/copy/paste..wonder if it's something in the character recognition? Seems odd. Corney was visible on the page and this seems a little different. Thanks again.
