I thought they were behind the scenes, untouchable, and they always wanted War.

Agreed. The bankers made their money by convincing others to use THEIR money to fund wars while the bankers just collect it. Funny now that the US had closed the tap, the EU has not stepped up, other than talking.

The banks are waging a war on Western Countries. They want communism, IE we the banks OWN everything.
US has the biggest piggy bank, CIA it into Ukraine, bleed Americans dry. If that fails take down Europe also.
Banks want to control people; they chose the name to represent a river shipping humanity. If the US falls the world will fall and the banks will own it all.
Intriguing question. My guess would be in most bankers wars aren't real wars they are violent, murderous, psy-ops used to give them even more power once the war ends. The main tactic the bankers use is to back both sides. The more war they finance, the more debt it creates, the more debt governments owe, the more control bankers can grab. In Ukraine they have only got one side in their pocket so they've lost control of what happens after the war.
The Bankers moved their financial base from the dying British Empire (where they had funded conflicts and war for decades) to US after Brettenwoods, when USD became the reserve currency and hence US obtained the power to "print money at will".
They willingly handed that control to US, and Trump took control of that. "They never thought she would lose"

It's not that easy. If they were to excessively devalue the Euro, Pound, Swiss Frank, etc. they would simply cause inflation and currency collapse. There's no demand for it internationally.
The USD is still high in demand because of its status in international trade. So you can devalue that and export that inflation around the entire world where it isn't concentrated in Europe. It's the dilution ability that makes it so valuable.
So if Trump has control of the Fed, he can leverage the USD's commercial status to play financial games they can't match.
Aside from them laundering money, they don't manufacture Defense Artillery. They profit from the trading of the Stocks of the Companies that do. Prices are so inflated they of course gorge on kickbacks. $4 million dollar missles ring a bell ? Its a circular industry the MIC is, as Yoda says.
