How are. You handling it? I’ve heard paying cash is much cheaper than paying premiums unless you have some catastrophic issue. They charge 10 times what a service is worth so they can get paid. The insurers usually pays 20% of the cost. A 5000 mri costs 1000 for the insured patient paying 20% but can find an mri for around 500 paying cash!
There are also Medi-share programs that sound interesting.
I save a small portion against things like dental care. God has taken care of us for a lot. We did join a health share, but even that has gone up so we can only afford the bronze level.. which is only good to help with catastrophic emergency room stuff only.
We just don't go to the drs for anything unless it's beyond my research (thanks people here!)
