I doubt our Founding Fathers ever foresaw a significant number of representatives being in office for decades into old age with decrepit bodies and minds. It screams out for term limits. Totally ludicrous at this point.
Considering that our government is 237.5 years old, we lose a Senator every 287 days on average through US History. We have lost a US House member every 268 days on average since 2000. What other profession outside the military has this kind of mortality rate? This is a sign that people are in Congress way too long. There are probably many people in Congress who have the same cognitive dissodence that Biden has.
I was never in favor of term limits before now because I believed the lie that the people could choose and vote them out if they didn't like their Rep or Senator. HOWEVER, the people CAN'T choose if they're being lied to by the press and important health issues are being concealed (including by their staff!), so I now believe we MUST have term limits. If it's good enough for the President, it's good enough for everyone else.

The older and less independent they are, the better for their AIPAC handlers.
As we just saw with the Biden auto signature.
