I was responding to the question, "Why? They don't need any aid if they have a cease fire."
If we don't restore the previous support, then Russia would definitely have no reason to stop, Ukraine would be effectively disarmed.
President Trump removed the aid to FORCE Ukraine (EU,NATO) to agree to the ceasefire. It WORKED.
Now that Uklraine has agreed to it, Trump can apply pressure on Putin to ceasefire as well.
Do you really think the US has no cards to play against Russia in all of this?
I am going to go out on a limb and say that Russia will agree to a ceasefire within 48 hours. I'm date fagging hard on that, but let's see what happens.

Our objective is obviously to destroy Russia, not make peace with them and have a "deal". With this "deal" with Ukraine, we have decidedly sided with Ukraine and pissed in Putin's face. We give Ukraine everything they want and will try to bully Putin into accepting it, because there is absolutely NOTHING in this "deal" that is a carrot to Russia--it's a fucking salad bar for Ukraine and a big ass stick for Russia. Putin is going to be pissed, and rightly so.
The US will now “immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine.” Washington and Kiev have also discussed “humanitarian relief efforts,” including potential prisoner of war swaps, “release of civilian detainees” and other actions.
And yes, they want to destroy Russia if they're handing everything to Ukraine. We're back to funding the war they are supposedly stopping for 30 days... which gives them time to regroup with our weapons, intel, and cash, to go at Russia gain.
And hell, listen to the entire video. They flat out say that we're lifting the "pause" on all the support for Ukraine. When you arm one side with intel, weapons, and boatloads of cash, you kind of make it obvious whose side you're on. Russia isn't getting a fucking thing so far, save for the threat of NATO at their door again.
Why would they agree to it?
They are seriously winning, and their own conditions have not been met.
Usually, it's the winner that sets terms, not the loser.

BREAKING -- PUTIN AGREES TO 30 DAY CEASEFIRE IN UKRAINE.
Where are all of the details on the deal you seem to know so much about?
Do you have any sauce for who is getting what and when?
And since when is our objective "obviously" to destroy Russia? This is the first I am hearing of this. Any sauce for that either?
There's this:
