Just going thru my notes. For those that haven’t heard the history of JFKjr and H. Clinton.
It always expected that JFKjr would follow his father into politics. With the looming retirement of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, JFKJr. was asked by the unions if he wanted to run for that seat. Bill Clinton’s presidency was coming to an end and Hillary Clinton marriage was reeling from the Monika Lewinsky scandal but she decided to test the waters in February 1999, although her address was Arkansas and not New York. She knew if JFKJr ran, she didn’t have any hope.
Kennedy, then 38, was clearly on Clinton’s radar and one of the first lady’s advisers said the camp was “scared" over his potential candidacy. Remember, she was First Lady at the time. Clinton, meanwhile, forged ahead with her plans to run in that Senate seat.
Kennedy was critical of Clinton’s decision to enter the Senate race. He said New York Democrats should choose someone from New York. The seat in question had once been held by Kennedy’s uncle, the late Robert F. Kennedy. Clinton’s campaign launched with the FEC paperwork on July 6, 1999, quickly followed by the listening tour. Kennedy’s plane crashed July 16, 1999.
100% agree. I often think of his hurried funeral. It was far removed from his Catholic faith. Then there is the mystery ‘family’ that often appeared at 45s rallies. That lady was the spitting image of Caroline and those now late teens early 20s with her were images of their ‘parents’. ‘Tis a mystery.

And lets not forget that he and DJT was friends. President Trump positively know much more that most know.
