The point I'm making is that the DOD used to be called the Dept of War prior to like the 1900s. Could this be a signal for the restoration of the republic? Just a thought but I find it an interesting choice of words

It was called the Department of War until 1947 when it was renamed the National Military Establishment as part of the National Security Act of 1947.
It was later changed to the DOD in 1949.
The Act also created the CIA.
National Security Act of 1947 also contains the foundational documentation that the Continuity of Government/Operations plans that form the framework of the Devolution theory.
